This Saturday, October 17, join us at Happy Girl Wine between 5 and 7 PM for a special opportunity to experience the wines of Slovenia with Jean Michel Morel, a winemaker at Kabaj! Stop in to taste three different Kabaj wines while you shop, learn about the people and traditions behind them, and ask your questions directly to someone who helps make the wine. Best of all, the experience is free!
Slovenia might not be the first country that comes to mind when you think of wine, but it has a long winemaking history and a distinctive place in the European wine world. In fact, Kabaj has been named one of Wine & Spirits Magazine’s “Top 100 Wineries in the World” FOUR TIMES! Whether you’re already familiar with Slovenian wines or have never tried one before, this is a chance to venture beyond the usual wine regions and discover something new.
Kabaj is a family-owned Slovenian winery with a story that spans generations. Katia Kabaj inherited the family’s vineyards from her father, carrying that legacy forward through wines that reflect their origins and the people who care for them. On Saturday, you’ll have the chance to learn more about the winery, its vineyards, and the work that goes into each bottle straight from one of its winemakers.
