We are a small, independently owned retail wine store in located at the intersection of S. Washington Ave. and W. Harrison Ave. in Royal Oak, Michigan. Our mission is to make the world of wine feel a little less intimidating and a lot more accessible!
We’re not sommeliers. We’re wine lovers, full-time professionals, and friends! We are here to talk to you about our inventory and your preferences in plain language that you actually understand to guide you through the shopping experience.
Good wine shouldn’t have to cost a fortune. That’s why we seek out high-quality wines from unique producers at approachable prices. One of the best ways to learn about wine and expand your palate is to try new things, and you shouldn’t have to gamble $50 just to do it! We try every wine before it earns a spot on our shelves. If we wouldn’t be excited to drink ourselves, we won’t ask you to!

What is “Clean” Wine?
This is the question we get the most!
“Clean” wine isn’t a strict certification, so there’s no single definition that can tell you exactly what’s in every bottle. For us, it’s a simple term to describe all wines made with thoughtful farming and winemaking practices, as few unnecessary additives and interventions as possible, and consideration for the environmental, economic, and social impact of how the wine is produced.
Oftentimes, this looks like organic or biodynamic farming, hand-harvesting, native yeast, little to no added sulfites, vegan production, or charitable missions. Overall, it means the winemaker took a thoughtful, intentional approach to what went into the bottle.
We don’t believe there’s one right way to make or drink wine. We just believe it’s worth knowing what you’re drinking is from producers who actually care about you and what ends up in your glass.
